Each month, our friends from the Arc of Dallas come to visit the Dallas Museum of Art. This month, we went into the galleries and practiced using all of our senses (not just our eyes) to experience the works of art. Then, we went into the studio and made some sightless paintings, using the process of visiting artist John Bramblitt, and painted to music. It was a great morning!

In the galleries, we thought about what it would be like to jump into the works of art.

LG had fun feeling the lines of his drawing and filling them in using the textured paint.

LG reveals his sightless masterpiece, a green pumpkin!

Jessica listens closely to the music and makes a beautiful painting that reflects the sounds that she hears.
