It has only been a couple weeks since local artist Jill Foley started installing her Living Room, in the Tower Gallery on the fourth floor of the Museum but as you can see, the installation is already taking shape. We invited Jill to create an imaginary environment where visitors can feel at ‘home’ in the Museum while the Center for Creative Connections undergoes construction for the second exhibition this late July. Jill has been working around the clock manipulating ordinary cardboard boxes into cave-like formations suspended from the ceiling and attached to the walls. The space will surely be the Center for Creative Connections’ ‘home away from home.’
